Very large , round, and uniform,bright scarlet in color. Flesh is solid and meaty, of deliciously mild flavor, with only a few small seed cells. The vines grow from 8 to 10 inches high, and may be trained or tied to a treillis, forming a most ornamental fence for the vegetable garden. If planted early, Beefsteak will ripenby the middle of July, and continue to bear until killed by frost.
