Fruit rouge. Croisement de "Market King" avec une autre variété non connue.

• Variété citée en 1935 dans le catalogue "D.T. Brown & Co" à Poulton le Fylde dans le Comté de Lancashire en Angleterre avec le texte suivant : We have secured the sole right of this wonderful new tomato. It is the result of a cross with that excellent variety Market King. It produces a long and broad truss, a beautiful shape, absolutely smooth, the colour is a most attractive deep scarlet, fruit medium sized of splendid firm texture which commands a higher price on the markets. Short-jointed, strong calyx, sets freely and an enormous cropper. We are certain our Huntsman has a great future.
